Takayasu injured his left leg on the 24th at the Natsu Jungyo at Saitama's
Saitama Kumagaya Dome. During a keiko bout with Ura, he eased up at one
point. He needed help from Kazuma to get off the dohyo, but he was able to
walk. "I hurt my leg. I was surprised. I'm going to the hospital for
treatment today. It's a shame," he explained. He participated in the
dohyo-iri held in the afternoon, but did not participate in the main bouts.
Daieishou, who is from Saitama Prefecture, took Takayasu's place and had
two bouts that day. "There are still three weeks left, so I'll do my best,"
he said.
