It all started with the younger brother, Wakatakakage, winning his first yusho at the Spring Tournament in 2022. Requests for TV appearances began to pour in, and Arashio noted, "At first, all the offers were coming to Wakatakakage." However, since Wakatakakage would turn them down, the offers would be passed to the older brother, Wakamotoharu, who would readily accept. As he continued to accept these invitations, opportunities for the older brother to appear on TV increased. "The brothers have completely different personalities," Arashio said, describing their contrasting reactions with a laugh. The conversation also touched upon Wakamotoharu's appearance in the 2025 NHK historical drama "Berabō". In that instance, the Kyokai contacted the Oyakata, who asked the rikishi what he wanted to do; Wakamotoharu replied, "I want to do it." Hearing about the historical drama prompted Shikoroyama Oyakata to share a special anecdote of his own. During his active career, he had appeared as the rikishi "Nagato" in the 2012 drama "Taira no Kiyomori" "To share a behind-the-scenes story, it seems the final candidates were Aminishiki and myself," he revealed. Aminishiki hailed from Aomori Prefecture, the same as the lead actor Kenichi Matsuyama, while the Oyakata himself was from Shimonoseki City in Yamaguchi Prefecture—the site of "Dan-no-ura", where the Taira clan met its downfall. He heard that they remained in the running due to these respective regional connections. "Whether it's true or not is another matter," he added with a smile, recalling how the offer ultimately went to him, a story that delighted the audience. [Ryotaro Yamada]</span>
