Oomori (22, Oitekaze ), who debuted at Makushita tsukedashi this basho, has now won five consecutive matches. He faced Tatsubayama , ranked 39E. After a tense exchange of moves where both rikishi tried to find each other's mawashi, Oomori timed his tsukiotoshi from the right perfectly. With his brother in attendance, he expressed his gratitude for the support, saying, "Thanks to everyone, I've been winning steadily, so I'm grateful for the cheers and support." There were moments before the match that could have easily shaken him. This was his fifth professional match, and the first time he entered the dohyo from the west side. After a silent bow, he was supposed to face the west side of the ring to perform the shiko, but he almost went straight to the front, and was corrected by the shinpan.. "Asasekiryuu and Nishonoseki laughed at me. Takasago Oyakata showed me what to do and I was grateful." At the start of the match, his opponent was hesitant to put his hands down, engaging in a bit of tactical maneuvering. In the end, he put both hands down to start the match. "I was a little nervous," he recalled, but showed his strong nerves by saying, "I don't think the content was bad." His opponent, Tatsubayama, is a strong Mongolian rikishi who has only suffered two losses (excluding default losses) since his debut in the Jonokuchi division last September. Despite this, Oomori remained undefeated, keeping his chances of winning the Makushita yusho alive. While his handsome features often attract attention, his skills are also impressive, and the support he receives is growing day by day. "I'm not going to worry too much about winning the yusho; I'll just do my best at my own pace," he said calmly. this guy is going to be huge. </p><p style="box-sizing:border-box;color:rgb(53,60,65);font-family:Inter,-apple-system,BlinkMacSystemFont,"Segoe UI",Roboto,Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif,"Apple Color Emoji","Segoe UI Emoji","Segoe UI Symbol"">"Which way is the right way?"
