Yokozuna Terunofuji was there and was 3-4 against Oonosato. He was seen doing some powerful sumo, and also, being pushed around by Oonosato. "It was as usual, but I may have a few things I need to fix, like how to use my weight to my advantage.." he said later. "My condition? I'm getting there.. Diabetes? It's not like it's not there.." he added. He is definitely in a better place than he was lately, health wise. "I am able now to train with the Ozeki, and I guess i will be upping the pace now," he summed. Looks like he intends to enter the basho, although he has not done much actual sumo training at this point. Still, a few days left to ketchup..</span><div><span style="color:rgb(53,60,65);font-family:Roboto,"Helvetica Neue",Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif"><br></span></div><div><span style="color:rgb(53,60,65);font-family:Roboto,"Helvetica Neue",Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif">Ozeki Houshouryuu was outstanding at the YDCS, taking on the other two Ozeki for 16 bouts, going 12-4. Hakkaku rijicho was full of praise for him, stating that if he gets the yusho, his promotion to Yokozuna was pretty much sealed, as is Kotozakura's , "if he does well" was the wording. "I would have given Houshouryuu 100 points if he would have faced Kotozakura for 10 more bouts at the end, but he gets 90 points anyway. I wish he would have shown more "I'm going for that promotion" zeal. A yusho for him is absolutely a condition for his promotion, and that is the difference between him and Kotozakura," summed the rijicho.</span></div><div><span style="color:rgb(53,60,65);font-family:Roboto,"Helvetica Neue",Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif"></span></div>
