Ozeki Kotozakura faced the likes of Daieishou, Hiradoumi and Meisei and was
11-1. The Jungyo started off on March 30th and today was its eighth venue,
Toyama city. He hasbn't been doing so great lately, going 5-10 and 8-7 in
his last to bashos. "I wasn't in bad shape, but a loss is a loss, it was
close, but it's not good to have that kind of inconsistency.. It's
important to know how one is doing at any given moment. First kadoban? It's
all part of my overall experience.." he explained.
